GRADUATION DAY |
I am a full time single mom of a handsome 16 year old boy. It has been
just him and I for the last 12 years and we are very close. He has the greatest sense of humour and
makes me laugh a lot. When he started school, I started university, St. Mary's. I obtained a Bachelor's Degree
as well as an Information Technology Certificate in which I graduated with honours.
I really love animals. During the years I attended university, I spent all
of my free time rescuing the feral cats in my neighbourhood where I lived at the time. I paid for their medical
attention which included spaying and neutering for the adults, and then found new homes for each of them.
It took 5 years but I rescued every one of them except for a few that had just been out there way too long
and would not go in the live traps. And those ones I faithfully fed every nite until they died.
I did not leave one behind when I finally moved from the area.
This is Molly. She is the only one of all the kitties I rescued that I kept.
She is the sweetest cat. Feral cats make the best pets; they become attached to you very quickly.

This is Peanut, our new Ragdoll kitten. She's an absolute doll.
(Our sweet Peanut died tragically on January 7, 2008. She was only 9 months
old.)

My son and I went to DisneyWorld last
year when he was 14. I worked two jobs for almost a year to save the money to go but it was worth it.
We had a wonderful time.

I grew up on the Mira River on Cape Breton Island. I lived on my polish
grandfather's land passed down through generations, and I had a horse for a pet. (picture below)
My parents still reside there and it is one of my favourite places.
I spent a lot of years travelling, 3 years in Sydney, Australia and many winters
in Calgary, Alberta as I loved to ski.
I was a singer/songwriter/performer for a number of years, mostly a hobby.
I don't perform anymore but I still write.
